This webinar will explain how to make automatic publishing possible: introducing you to the concept of automatic ingestion in data.europa.eu and the requirements to be harvested by the portal and how to comply with these requirements. This will come together with a pragmatic presentation on the workflow of automatic ingestion and a specific use case from the data publisher.
Data.europa.eu is a metadata catalogue, allowing data providers the possibility to publish metadata and improve the discoverability of their datasets via the portal. As data provider, you have the possibility to automize the process and be harvested by the portal. Analysing both internal needs for (meta)data management while bearing in mind the needs for its publication on data.europa.eu can facilitate all aspects of data lifecycle management.
