News archive - Call to establish Enterprise Europe Network from 2015 to 2020
The EC has issued an open call for proposals in order to establish the Enterprise Europe Network for the 2015-2020 period. Financed by the EU’s new Competitiveness of Enterprises and SMEs programme (COSME), the Network provides access to European and international markets for SMEs and innovation support services helping to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of European enterprises.
Grant agreements will be signed with the organisations that make up the Network in order to cover the activities of the first two years of operations. Applicants should submit an implementation strategy for the period 2015 to 2020, as well as a work programme covering the first two years of operations. The deadline for applications is 15 May 2014.
The aim of this call is to establish the Enterprise Europe Network for the period from 2015-2020.
The Network will contribute to the objectives of the COSME programme by facilitating access to European and international markets for European SMEs and by providing growth-oriented, integrated business and innovation support services that help strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of European enterprises. The Network will primarily address European SMEs that seek to exploit new opportunities in the Single Market, but also in third countries.
At the same time, the Network can help achieve SME-related objectives of other EU programmes like Horizon 2020 and is encouraged to contribute to the development of a stronger SME support system in the regions of the European Union.
