As a non-governmental initiative, the Regional Economic Forum brings together high government officials, leading decision-makers, mayors, members of the academic community, public figures and representatives of the most prominent companies in the region. 

Traditionally, the conference discusses relevant experiences, initiatives and opportunities in terms of improvement and harmonisation of development policies and the overall business environment, removing existing barriers and opening new possibilities for connection, cooperation and joint projects of public institutions and business sector of countries in the region, which is basis for further investment and development.

In addition to panel presentations and discussions dedicated to regionally significant issues of macroeconomic and development policies, business environment, initiatives and opportunities for connection and cooperation of companies in intraregional operations in light of the accession process to the European Union, one-on-one meetings will be arranged among participants.
