News archive - REGPOT-2010-5 call closed on October 15: first data on submissions
The European Commission, DG RTD, shared on the occasion of the Steering Platform meeting some data on the submissions from the Western Balkans to the Research Potential Call specifically launched for the region which just closed on October 15.
Almost half of all proposals were submitted from Serbian researchers (48.5%), more details can be found in the table presented.

The main fields that were tackled in the submissions are
- engineering, natural sciences and ICT, and
- environment, agro-food and life sciences
The European Commission outlined that remote evaluation of the proposals will take place in November 2009 and a consensus meeting shall take place at the beginning of December.
We are crossing our fingers for all proposers to this specific call. We shall highlight again that the call REGPOT-2010-1 is still open (also for the researchers from the Western Balkan countries!)
