News archive - The TransNEW FP7 project will be holding its final workshop in Bratislava, Slovakia on Monday, November 7, 2011.
The TransNEW project was launched on January 1st 2010 and aims to map the transport research potential in all the New Member and Associated States. The West Balkan region is named as one of the key regions whose transport research is being assessed. Citizens of the following countries are therefore invited to attend this import workshop: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, FYR of Macedonia and Kosovo (UNSCR 1244).
The project has a key role in supporting transport research activities in the New Member and Associated States of Europe by stimulating, encouraging and facilitating the participation of the New Member States and particularly Small to Medium Sized Enterprises in national, regional and European research.
TransNEW covers all transport modes including aeronautics and aims to exploit the synergies between air transport and surface transport. This means that the national transport research capability for 26 Countries will be defined and this information will be available to all through the use of a publicly accessible user-friendly database.
Join us at this important event where we will report on the transport research potential in all the New Member and Associated States and take the opportunity to collaborate with others to form consortia. The database will be demonstrated during the workshop.
The workshop and dinner are FREE. A full agenda is attached. Registration is mandatory and you can register directly at: http://forms.ncl.ac.uk/view.php?id=2188
