News archive - [Event Announcement] EuroNanoForum 2011

EuroNanoForum is a biannual event supported by the European Commission and organised within the framework of the Presidency of the European Union. EuroNanoForum 2011 will be the fifth event in this series, and will take place under the Hungarian Presidency at the Budapest Congress and World Trade Center from 30 May to 1 June 2011. Previous EuroNanoForum events have attracted 700-1000 participants.

EuroNanoForum is this year’s must-attend event for the European nanotechnology community. By participating you will gain critical knowledge about nanotechnology development, build partnerships, raise funding, do business and have fun.  The event takes place in Budapest’s Congress and World Trade Center from 30th May to 1st June 2011.

The event programme features updates on the latest developments in nanotechnology from over 70 leading research centers, practical information about industrial applications from European nanotechnology leaders like Bayer, Umicore, Fiat and Nokia, and will enable you to get a deeper understanding of future R&D funding strategies from the European Commission and 14 other funding agencies.

EuroNanoForum is also a place to build partnerships and do business. You can raise your profile with a stand in the fully-integrated exhibition, pre-arrange meetings with potential partners and customers during a full day of matchmaking, and find funding for your company by pitching Europe’s leading nanotechnology investors in the venture forum.

Last but not least, you’ll have fun. Conference tickets include lunch and coffee, plus a cocktail reception and gala dinner to maximize opportunities for networking. The event is also a great excuse to spend time in one of Europe’s most attractive capitals in the summer sunshine!
