The ICT Proposers' Day 2011 to take place in Budapest, 19-20 May is dedicated to networking and promoting research & development in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. If you would like to know more:

  • about the funding opportunities offered by the European Union in the field of ICT research & development;
  • about participating in Calls 8 and 9 of the FP7 ICT Work Programme offering more than one billion euros of EU funding

and you are looking for the right partners to form project consortia, your place is at the ICT Proposers' Day 2011.

We encourage you to attend as this could result in fruitful collaborations among European and International ICT entities

With whom can you meet at ICT Proposers' Day?

The event will provide academia and business sectors, SMEs and government actors from all over Europe a platform for building partnerships and exchange ideas for participating in calls for proposals. About 2500 participants are expected to attend.

In addition, over 100 Commission officials will be present to provide information on the content of the calls for proposals and advice you on how to submit your proposal.

About the event

  • Under the auspices of the Hungarian Presidency to the European Union the event will take place in Budapest.
  • Following the experience of the large success of the ICT Proposers' Day 2009, the 2011 event will also be organised as information fair.
  • The event will consist of two half days (19th of May afternoon and 20th of May morning) allowing sufficient time for networking.
  • Networking sessions will be organised according to the Challenges and Objectives of the ICT Work Programme.
  • The stands on the Challenges and Objectives will be manned by Commission officials and will serve as meeting points for interested people.
  • Large areas will serve for a more informal way of establishing partnerships.

The event is free of charge.
