News archive - SEE-GRID-SCI Fosters eInfrastructure for Regional Scientific Cooperation
SEE-GRID-SCI (SEE-GRID eInfrastructure for regional eScience) is a 2 year project co-funded by the European Commission, which aims to leverage the eInfrastructure in South-East Europe to enable new scientific collaborations among user communities.
In the long run, SEE-GRID-SCI aspires to contribute to the stabilisation and development of SEE by easing the digital divide and stimulating eInfrastructure development and adoption by new user communities, thus enabling collaborative high-quality research across target scientific fields (seismology, meteorology and environmental protection).
The project involves fifteen partners, among them the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), several SEE-based universities and the WBC-INCO.NET partners such as GSRT and TÜBITAK.
A regular newsletter is available on the project's website, where users can sign up for a free subscription.
