News archive - FP7 Health: SICAs with the Western Balkans are now called for

A topic for Specific International Cooperation Action (SICA) with the target region Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Western Balkans is called for: HEALTH-2007-2.2.1-10: Childhood and adolescent mental disorders (Small or medium-scale focused research projects), deadline is September 18, 2007.
In the same call, topic HEALTH-2007-3.5-3 is addressing Health care intervention research - optimising hospital care and calls for small or medium-scale focused research projects with the target region of the Western Balkans.

In the same call, some topics address all International Cooperation Partner Countries (of the WBC Croatia, Serbia and FYR of Macedonia are already Associated Countries, the others are currently still ICPC; but note: all WBC are eligible to participate in the programme):

HEALTH-2007-2.3.2-13: Coordination of European research activities with global initiatives, including Public-Private Partnerships, Coordination or Support action - Targeted Country/Region: ICPC
HEALTH-2007-2.3.2-14: Next generation of researchers for HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis and neglected infectious diseases, Coordination or Support action - Targeted Country/Region: ICPC
HEALTH-2007-2.3.4-1: Development of new tools to control infections due to parasites of the Trypanosomatidae family, Small or medium-scale focused research projects - Targeted Country/Region: ICPC
HEALTH-2007-2.3.4-2: Development of a Leishmania vaccine, Small or medium-scale focused research projects - Targeted Country/Region: ICPC
HEALTH-2007-2.3.4-3: Bioprospecting for drug leads Small or Medium-scale focused research projects - Targeted Country/Region: ICPC

Particulary interesting for stakeholders active in international cooperation in the field is:

HEALTH-2007-4.1-8: Promotion and facilitation of international cooperation in areas relevant to the objectives of this Theme, Coordination or Support action - Targeted Country/Region: ICPC
