The King Baudouin Foundation, based in Brussels/Belgium, is an independent public benefit foundation, supporting commitment to create greater justice, democracy and diversity in society.
The Foundation is active at the regional, federal and international level. It carries out missions at the request of government bodies and institutions and formulates its own recommendations.
"Democracy in the Balkans" (with the sub-areas: minority rights, student mobility, victims of human trafficking, readmission and European integration) is one of the foundation's key areas of activity.
