Mr. Fatih M. SAHIN has a degree in Business Administration (BA) from Uludag University, 1987 (Turkey) and an MSc. in Science and Technology Policy from Strathclyde University, 1993 (UK). His offical work started at the Young Scientists Training Group of TUBITAK. He has attended and contributed to numbers of NATO ASIs/ARWs in the fields of science management and technology transition policy. He has carried out research, working document and legislative studies in matters related to EU RTD integration (notably with Turkey), policies and their evaluation. He continued to improve his research in that area via participating in international projects and networks led by EU namely, ETAN, FP4-TSER (S&T Policy in 4 transition countries, as contributor) and FP6-ResIST (during preparation time) projects in Oxford University, EU Enlargement Futures Project of IPTS and Sustainability and R&D Workshops Chain of ITAS-IPTS. He has actively contributed to the establishment, pre-foresight and development phases of Turkey’s “Vision 2023” project.
